Having your reception on the Family Farm and getting married at the local family church is just about as intimate as you can get. So why not invite 100 of your closest family and friends.
We first met Erin & Chris when we captured Chris' sister's wedding a couple of years ago. They also had the same idea of using the family farm and of course, the same family church. But they obviously wanted to do it their way, to make it unique to them and had lots of ideas with regards to the photography.
After the church ceremony, Chris and Erin jumped in an ice cream van. Seemed apt, considering that Erin is the manager of a local ice cream shop (Holden's). Then out in the 4x4 to the other side of the farm to get some rather unique photos.
Some great speeches and entertainment by Pat Mulligan helped get the party started. A party that continued well into the evening and early the next morning!
If you know someone that has a plot of land that you can put a tent on and save yourself some money then go for it.....
The only downside is, someone needs to manage the whole process from Tent erection to organising the bar and outside caterer.
But what it does bring you in the joy of knowing that your wedding is unique to you.
